When it was time for Dr. Hodge to say goodbye to her “heart dog” Bailey, she asked Dr. Gillies to come to her home to euthanize Bailey, so Dr. Hodge could say her last goodbyes while allowing Bailey to remain in her favourite spot surrounded by the people she loved best. The moment was incredibly touching and began our quest to be able to provide the same peaceful goodbye to all cherished pets. Dr. Hodge has since become an accredited Hospice and Palliative care Veterinarian and along with Dr. Gillies and their Registered Veterinary Technician Jenna Lee, they are so pleased to provide this personal and specialized service.
